PHDS REPORTS WERE HEARD DURING NEXT ASSEMBLY OF THE COUNCIL OF YOUNG SCIENTISTS

The young scientists and specialists of the ANAS Institute of Geology and Geophysics held next assembly. The assembly was held under the chairmanship of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS, Ph.D. in Earth Sciences, Associate Professor Orhan Abbasov. The research results related to the dissertation subjects of the engineer of the sector of mineralogy and geochemistry, PhD student of the third year Kanan Abbasov and the research of the department of modern geodynamics and space geodesy, PhD student of the third year Gunel Sadigova.
The subject of Kanan Abbasovs dissertation is “The role of Fe-Ti oxide minerals in the study of the petrological characteristics of Upper Jurassic-Lower Cretaceous intrusives of the Gedabek group”.
The subject of Gunel Sadigovas dissertation is dedicated to the modern geodynamic characteristics and structure of the Earths crust along the western shore of the Caspian Sea.
The young scientists informed the participants about the urgency of the researches and about the obtained research findings.
Assemblys members heard with interest to the papers. At the end, the reporters answered numerous questions.
