WERE PRESENTED GEODYNAMIC RESEARCH ALONG BAKU-TBILISI JEYHAN BY GEOLOGY INSTITUTE.

Scientists of ANAS studied geodynamic conditions of oil-pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan and determine that no seismic danger for areas. Researches were carried out on the vertical and horizontal movement of the earths crust, and also by studying the dynamic properties of the soil for this purpose were used leveling and gravimetric measurements on four seismic stations along the oil pipeline, where were fixed earthquake.

Studies have been conducted with the support of “BP” in a project called “Geodynamic monitoring along the oil-pipeline of Baku –Tbilisi- Jeyhan and surrounding areas”. Project director, head of department of “Geodynamic and seismology” of Institute corresponding member of ANAS, Fakhreddin Kadirov.

In his opinion, some breeds can increase the risk and power of earthquakes. All this researches are conducted to measure the degree of danger.

In the end we can say that the geodynamic activity in the territory of the location of the oil-pipeline all the time there, but at this time the danger does not threaten the oil-pipeline. According to Fakhreddin Kadirov , at this time presented a new project, and he needed for continuation of researches.
