Main scientific achievements
A multi-channel telemetry system for monitoring geothermal parameters in real time is developed

It is revealed a correspondence between the distribution of vertical and horizontal geothermal gradients and the distribution of stresses in the South Caspian basin.

Is developed an electronic database for the thermal properties of the Phanerozoic rocks of Azerbaijan and GIS technology for the joint analysis of cartographic visualization and construction of various models.

Is mapped the distribution of the heat flux, temperature, vertical and horizontal geothermal gradients for the South Caspian Basin, revealed the structure of the thermal field and thermal anomalies and their nature.

Results of studies on the inversion of borehole temperatures in Azerbaijan showed that temperature increased by about 1-2 ° C after the first half of the XIX century in this region climatic.
