ASSOCIATE OF ANAS INSTITUTE OF GEOLOGY PROBATED AT NETHERLANDS


Young scholar of ANAS
Institute of Geology Fuad Aliyev probated on “Move” digital software development by Scotland's Midland Valley Company.

The course at the
University of Delft in Holland continued from July 8 till 16. Lessons were conducted by PhD Armelle Kloppenburg, head of “4D GEO” Structural Geology Consulting and Training Company in The Hague.

Program enables 3D modeling of depths of the earth, including earthquake source zones, and digitalization of maps and profile sections.

Course has been carried out by initiative of the institutes’ Department of Geotectonics and regional geology, and support of Science Development Fund under AR President. A. Kloppenburg has conducted several lessons on “MOVE” program at the
Institute of Geology, on December 2012.

At the end of the course, is intended to build 3D model of a geological environment of the Greater Caucasus covering
Azerbaijan territory via “Move” program.
